It is intended for measurement of a deviation of the internal diameter of pipes (cylinders) from nominal rates. Measurements are performed simultaneously in the horizontal and vertical planes.
Fig. 2.1 – Overall view of the device “Kaskad-125”
Basic technical characteristics
internal diameter of a controlled part (pipe), mm | 125 |
deviation of the diameter from nominal rate, mm | from -0,2 to +0.8 |
length of the controlled parts, mm | up to 7000 |
error of measurements (at the roughness of internal surface of a controlled pipe – no less than Ra 0,63 µm), mm, no more than | 0,015 |
least significant digit of the diameter value, mm | 0,001 |
measurement pitch over the length of a pipe, mm | 10; 20; 100; 200 |
measurement rate, mm/s | up to 100 |
Note – Manufacture of the device “Kaskad -125” for measurements of pipes with diameters from 100 to 155 mm is possible.
Method of measurements
- The measuring unit supplied with twelve centering rollers is installed into the controlled pipe. The measuring unit turns on the mechanism of movement of the unit and a measuring head.
- The recording unit containing the PC provides the control of movements of the measuring unit, the transformation of signals of the measuring unit and the processing of measurement results.
-
The measuring and recording units are connected to each other by an electric cable (a part of the delivery).
